mixed feelings about cleanliness and service
short staff dirty clothes
the staff was short staffed at breakfast, a let down. cleaners left dirty clothes in our room one night. the second morning they didnt enter the room, a real dissapointment considering the price.

fantastic STAY
hotel décor comfortable bed
the hotel décor WAS SO BOLD. I loved the paintings. The bed felt very comfortable and the toiletries were lovely. Breakfast tasted excellent though hot food options were a LITTLE limited.

My beautiful double room had a GORGEOUS bay window. It was very spacious with a beautiful bathroom. The beds and pillows were really comfy, great for a relaxing NIGHT.

breakfast choices WERE VERY GOOD. everything was freshly made and ideally hot enough to enjoy. i ESPECIALLY appreciated the quality of the coffee available from the smeg machine EACH morning.

the room was nice, it had very stylish decor.
I found the walls thin and sound INSULATION was poor. I could hear every word of conversations in adjacent rooms and that affected my rest.

fantastic quality spacious bathroom lovely size
the breakfast was superb. the quality was fantastic. my standard double room had a lovely size with a very clean spacious bathroom.
The main issue was that the room was unclean. I found hair in the bed.

good choice high standard no parking early wake
I found the breakfast to be of good quality, very nicely presented and with a good choice. The guesthouse is finished to a high standard, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly, polite and professional. The location and room were really good.
There was no parking spot available when I arrived. I was also woken at 5:30 am by people trampling about in the room directly above. The noise continued for two hours, it wrecked my sleep! That was a let down.

our room, a beautiful double room bath, was so beautiful. the decor was lovely, and the super king bed was just perfect for a restful sleep. the bathroom was very clean, and i especially liked the modern power shower.
I found the staff a bit cold. they did not show me around the room upon arrival. the clothes hanging area was very small. It was odd for such a large room. also, i could hear every footstep from the room above, which disturbed my sleep.

Charming stay, definite return
bougie decor excellent location helpful staff
i adored the bougie decor and excellent location. the beautiful double room was amazing with a good wet room. breakfast was thoughtfully laid out, i especially enjoyed the eggs benedict. i will be back, the staff was very helpful.
the cleanliness fell short , i noticed some oversights. on my initial night, cleaning supplies and used cloths remained in my room. additionally, there were times when the room received no service at all, quite disappointing.
